Abstract :
Fajar Jaya Palembang Wood Shop is a company engaged in the trade of goods with main products such as tables, chairs, doors, etc. which are related to wood and woodworking services. This company uses manual methods to record sales and purchase transactions, so data loss often occurs, lost books and others. The author aims to make the Profit and Loss Accounting Application at the Kayu Fajar Jaya Palembang Shop so that data such as sales data, and purchase data, and profit losses become more computerized in processing transactions. This application was developed using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method. The result of development is an application that can record sales and purchase transactions. In addition, this application can create general journal reports, ledger reports, and income statements based on existing transactions.
