Abstract :
This research aimed to discover the effect of investment decision (PER), profitability (ROE) and dividend policy (DPR), partially and simultaneously on the value of companies in automotive and component companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2009-2017. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling method. The population in this study are all automotive companies and components that have been and are still listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2009-2017. From the population of 13 manufacturing companies, 12 companies were sub-sectors of the automotive and components as samples with an observation period of nine years (2009-2017). The data used in this study are secondary data, as well as multiple linear regression analysis used in this study with the help of using the SPSS 24.0 program. The results showed that the investment decision variable (PER) had a positive and not significant effect on firm value, profitability (ROE) had a negative and significant effect on firm value, and dividend policy (DPR) had a positive and not significant effect on firm value.
