Abstract :
This study aims to produce a video-based learning media that is valid, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process especially in the subject matter of basic engineering work. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The subjects in this study were students of class X TPM at SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. The object of this research is the development of video-based learning media. The stages of development carried out in this study are: 1. define, 2. design, 3. develop, and 4. disseminate. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used interviews and questionnaires that were conducted validation tests before the feasibility test was carried out with the results of the validation of the material experts getting the percentage of validity of 90% and media experts 91.6% and declared very valid for feasibility testing. The results of the one to one feasibility test use interviews with the results of the level of understanding and satisfaction of the participants and the absence of negative comments on video-based learning media, the small group gets an 88% questionnaire score and the field test gets a 90% questionnaire score.
