Abstract :
This development research aims to produce classroom guidance materials in the form
of material booklets of Trust that are practically valid and efficient. This development
research uses the Rowntree model, consisting of 3 stages, the planning stage, the
writing preparation stage and the writing and editing stage. The subjects are 28
students of SMPN 1 Rambutan. The instrument of data collection consists of analyzing
the needs of students, expert interview guidelines, student interview guidelines and test
results of guidance. The results of the questionnaire conclude that trust is in class VIII
students. 3 is not optimal so students need to get guidance. Reported by interviewing
material experts and linguists. The results of the validity of two material experts and
linguists concluded that the developed booklet was valid and feasible to be tested. The
results of the assessment in the one to one stage are that the booklet meets the criteria
of practicality. Finally, the researcher conducted a class guidance test of multiplechoice objective forms. The effectiveness of the booklet is based on the results of the
field test, namely the average overall N-gain of 0.44, included in the medium category.
Class guidance booklets on trust material can thus help students develop trust.
