Abstract :
This study aims to know the sector that has an advantages and potentially superior in the future in Musi Banyuasin Regency and also Subdistrict region that has leading sector potential and to know the labor competitiveness at leading sector in Subdistrict region Musi Banyuasin Regency. The data used in this study is Musi Banyuasin Regency GDP 2014-2018 years data, economic growth rate of Musi Banyuasin Regency and amount of labor Subdistrict region of Musi Banyuasin regency. The data analysis technique used in this study is the analysis of leading sector, LQ and DLQ, also analysis of labor competitiveness CLI. Based on the analysis of leading sector LQ results in Musi Banyuasin Regency is mining sector, trading, car and motorcycle reparation, transportation, food and drink accomodation, also financial services and insurance, while based on the analysis of potentially superior sector in the future DLQ in Musi Banyuasin Regency is agriculture sector, mining sector, electricity and gas procurement, construction and food accomodation also Subdistict region that has potentially superior sector is Batanghari Leko Subdistrict and based on analysis of labor competitiveness CLI, Subdistrict region that has high labor competitiveness is Batanghari Leko Subdistrict.
