Abstract :
Inventori is an important asset to company that has an effect on inventory costs. In this study, lot size order policy to minimize inventory cost were discussed. The search for a lot size order solution is determined by the Wagner-Within algorithm. PT.X Palembang's company data were separated from differences in decision and parameter variables then were calculated the total and minimum cost of the Wagner-Within algorithm equation. The ordered frequency obtained from the Wagner-Within algorithm results in reducing order frequency with the number of booking increasing and there is a fixed order frequency with the same order amount. Total cost of supplies using the Wagner-Within algorithm is of Rp.20,107,700,- than before using the Wagner-Within algorithm is of Rp.29,016,000,- so that the saving used by the Wagner-Within algorithm is of Rp.8,908,300,-.
