Abstract :
Wireless communication is the transfer of information over long distances using wireless through electromagnetic waves. Some examples of wireless communication are WIFI (Wireless Fidelity), bluetooth, and infrared. Another technological development is LI-FI (Light Fidelity) that utilizes visible light as a medium of delivery. The research utilizes the Visible Light Communication (VLC) system using one transmitter circuit in the form of an LED (Light Emitting Diode) strip and two sets of receivers where the light receiving sensor uses solar panels and the output in the form of a loudspeaker and headset. Sending analog data is in the form of audio as information data. The process of testing and retrieval of data is based on two parameters, namely distance and angle that are carried out in bright and dark conditions with different lux values. The result of the research is the audio information could be heard. The process of testing and retrieval of data produces the best distance of 30 cm with gain value is 31 dB up to 32 dB and the best angle of 30° with gain value is 28 dB up to 35 dB.
