Abstract :
The position of an object can be known by utilizing the senses of human vision. Therefore, we need a component that can be used like an eye or in other words is radar. The type of radar that uses the Doppler effect to measure velocity of the object based on the radial contained in the radar catchment area is the definition of radar doppler. In this research, a radar device is designed that is able to monitor vehicle movements where there are differences with previous studies, the test distance between objects and radar is 3 meters with a sensor module that has transmitter and receiver antennas and then analyzed signal processing using fast fourier transform using MATLAB. Based on the results of testing the radar doppler device to monitor the movement of vehicles that have been designed, the maximum speed at the time of detection of objects in the form of a vehicle is 25.4511 km / h at an angle of 0 degrees and a minimum speed of 0.97792 km / h at an angle of 60 degrees. The doppler frequency obtained is 496.4022 Hz at an angle of 0 degrees and 19.0735 Hz at an angle of 60 degrees.
