This study aimed to determine the effect of psychoreligious therapy on anxiety levels of breast cancer patients. This research is a quantitative quasi experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design. This research was conducted at Palembang RSMH on 32 breast cancer patients with intervention and control groups based on purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used paired t-test and independent t-test. The paired t-test statistical results show that there are differences in anxiety scores before and after the intervention group (p = 0,000) and the control group (p = 0,000), while the results of the statistical analysis of independent t-tests mean that there are no significant differences between the intervention groups and control group. Psychoreligious therapy of dzikir and murottal al-quran is an effective therapy to help patients overcome anxiety. And it?s recommended for patients to do psychoreligious therapy zikir and murottal al-quran when feeling anxiety.
