Abstract :
This research was aimed to determine the growth of palm oil sprouts that are applied by administering sugarcane liquid organic fertilizer. The study was conducted in August to December 2019 at Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University Indralaya. The research used was Randomized Block Design (RBD), were 4 treatments of sugarcane liquid organic fertilizer, namely: V0: Control (without treatment), V1: Total volume liquid organic fertilizer 560 ml plant-1, V2: Total volume liquid organic fertilizer 480 ml plant-1, V3: Total volume liquid organic fertilizer 400 ml plant-1. By grouping 5 times, each experimental unit consisted of 5 plants .with the same dose of 40 ml plants-1 per week. Total sample plant were 100 plants. The application of liquid organic fertilizer for sugarcane shoots responds to the growth of oil palm sprouts. The application of 560 ml liquid organic fertilizer for sugarcane shoots gave the highest response to the growth of oil palm sprouts compared to the application of liquid organic fertilizer for sugarcane shoots lower than 560 ml.
