Abstract :
Breastfeeding is the best way to create healthy and quality human resources, Currently the provision of breast milk is not optimal and coverage is still below the target. This research aims to know the knowledge, attitudes and perception of cadres of breastfeeding in the Puskesmas Sako Palembang. The design used in this study is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach. Sample appearance shows pusrposive sampling number of samples 60 cadres.analysis includes univariate, education SMA 17 (28,3%) Respondents, the work of most housewives 17 (28.3%) Respondents, respondents who used to be cadres more than 4 years, namely as many as 39 (65%), while the knowledge of cadres of good 39 (65.0%), the knowledge of attitudes less 21 (35,0%) Respondents, the attitude of positive respondents 40 (66,7%) Negative respondents 20 (33,3%) Respondents, positive perception of respondents 36 (60.0%) Negative 24 (40,0%).From these results are known to many cadres who are negative attitudes on the statement about the provision of additional food in addition to breast milk and about breastfeeding, still need a hard effort to improve knowledge, attitude perception cadres, expected health workers further improve their role in providing information related to breastfeeding in order to successfully provide more optimal breastfeeding.
