Abstract :
This study aims to analyze the regional financial independence in the District / City of Jambi Province. The object used in this research is the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget in the District / City of Jambi Province. The analytical tools used are the degree of decentralization, dependency ratio, effectiveness ratio, efficiency ratio, and independence ratio. This study uses annual secondary data from 2013 to 2018. The results of these studied indicate that the regional financial independence in the District / City of Jambi Province is still very low. Regional governments in each district / city of Jambi Province are still unable to be independent in carrying out their respective regional autonomy because the level of dependence on the central government is still very high, and also local governments in each Regency / City of Jambi Province are still not maximal in increasing Regional Original Revenue his.
