Abstract :
This research aims to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer application on the growth and yields of floating shallot plants. The research was conducted at ?Embung? Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sriwijaya, North Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra in June to August 2021. The seeds used were onions of BimaBrebes variety. The design used in this research is a Randomized Complitely Block Design (RCBD) and the results of the observations were analysis of variance and BNT 5%. The treatments were NPK fertilizer consist of four levels doses, that were repeated three times so we had 12 unit treatments. Each unit treatment consist of three plants, so equal were 36 plants. The treatments were P0 = Control (without NPK fertilizer), P1 = 0,7 grams NPK/polybag, P2 = 1,4 grams NPK/polybag, P3 = 2,1 grams NPK/ polybag. The observed parameters include the length leaves, the number leaves per plants, the number of tillers per bulb, the extent of leaf greenness, the length of the roots, the diameter of the largest bulbs of the land, the total fresh weight of bulbs per plants, the weight of dry bulbs of the total wind of the land, the weight of freshly graded, and the weight of the dry weight of the crop. Based on the results of the study processed the results of the effect of dosing effects very highly significance against the parameters of the length of the sixh week of the farm and a real impact on the parameters of the number of tillers week second and the weight of the bulb of the total wind dry. P0 treatment (control/without NPK) is the best treatment on the growth and yield of shallot in floating cultivation.
