Abstract :
A common thing that occurs in most countries in the world is international
migration, including labor migration, which, in this case continues to develop along
with the relations that send between countries. Indonesia is one of the countries
that sends many workers abroad and has a flow of remittances. The remittances
obtained from migrant workers have a major impact on Indonesia's economic
growth. This study aims to determine the effect of TKI and remittances on economic
growth in Indonesia during the period 1990-2020. This study uses secondary data
with the type of time series data sourced from bnp2tki, worldbank and bank
Indonesia. The analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using multiple
regression analysis tools. The results showed that migrant workers have a positive
and insignificant effect, while remittances have a positive and significant effect on
economic growth of 0.507334.
