Abstract :
This research is entitled "Social Action of Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan(RASS) Community to Street Child in Palembang City". The design of this research is qualitative descriptive. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of social action carried out by community Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan and to understand the constraints factor in social action of community Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan to street child in Palembang. This study uses social action theory by Talcot Parsons. This research data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation. The number of informants in this study is thirteen people. The result of this research is describing implementation of social action community Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan to street child in Palembang also the constraints factor. The implementation of social action carried out by comminuty Relawan Anak Sumatera Selatan is an active and creatice action from aspects of education, skills, spiritual and also donations to street child in Palembang. The constraints factor of social action come from internal and external communities. Keywords: Social Action, Community
