Abstract :
The research method used is experiment apparent method. Sample in this research conist in two classes that is X IIS 2 with 33 students as experiment class and X IIS 3 with 33 students as control class. Experiment class is a class that given treatment with Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) while control class is a class that given treatment with discovery model. The techniques collecting data used test-tb calculation with SPSS 22. The result of research show there is contradiction result between experiment class and control class. The average on first write test of expotition text experimnt class is 56,06 dan control class is 55,03. And the average on last test of experiment class is 76,87 and control class is 65,27. Calculation result of test-t show that thitung > ttabel = 6,337 > 1,998 with df=64 on significant level 95% (? =0,05). Thus, Ha which caw ?there is contradiction student who taught by Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) model on write ability of expotiotion text of students in X class SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang?Accepted. So it can sume that Meaningful Instructional Design (MID) model more influential for ability of expotiotion text of students in X class SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang.
