Abstract :
The rapid development of technology in Indonesia today makes electricity the main need. In Indonesia, there are still several plants that use petroleum as the main fuel in production so that it becomes not environmentally friendly. The solution to this is to use renewable natural resources or alternative energy such as the sun. However, power generation is still not enough to meet the growing electricity needs of today?s contemporaries. Therefore, the merger between the two power plants aims to meet the growing electricity needs and also aims to cover the weaknesses of each of these power plants. From research and tests that have been carried out using the 2N3055 transistor which is hybridized with 12 thermoelectric cooler (TEC) modules for 7 days, getting the highest voltage of 14.43 V and the highest current of 0.88 mA, and producing the highest power of 0.012599 W. The output value produced by the transistor depends on the high low intensity of sunlight, if the intensity of sunlight is high, the value of the resulting output will be high and vice versa. As for the thermoelectric cooler (TEC) depending on solar radiation, the greater the solar radiation, the greater the output value will be as a result of the temperature difference value produced the greater as well.
