Abstract :
East Timorese people's lives can?t be separated from their hereditary traditional house, and also traditions which was a habit that carried hereditary and can unite the population, with the main binder is a traditional house. In the course of the lives of East Timorese society is always in line with a tradition adhered hereditary, there are the works of culture possessed. These works will always be retained as an honor because it already has passed down from generation to generation. The times and insight into human growing, raises awareness of the potential, as was characteristic of culture can be maintained in a way, adapting to the needs that exist, and it gives unique characteristics, so that it appears as a pride that can be enjoyed in each region and of the identity of the area. Stats and design Attorney General's office of East Timor do with the concept of Post-Modern approaches that blend traditional ethnic elements of local culture house and modern elements in the building which is expected to become an icon of a State. The local identity will bring the pride of itself community because it has cultural assets that can be maintained and developed, plans to put the building in a location that has a history in the struggle for East Timor's independence will strengthen the presence of the Attorney General's Office building East Timor emerged as an icon of the local.
