Abstract :
This study aims to determine whether the effect of attention of parents and learning interest of students mathematics learning achievement for VIIIA class SMP N 4 Kupang on Cartesian coordinate subjects year 2017/2018 lessons which amounted to 30 people. The data used in this research is the data of the achievement of learning and questionnaire / questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS version 22 program. Before testing hypothesis, the prerequisite test is tested normality for achievement data and questionnaire / questionnaire. In this case if the calculation results show a significance value (2-tailed) > 0.05 then H0 is accepted but if the value of significance (2-tailed) <0.05 then H0 is rejected. From result of analysis of achievement data obtained by Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.121> 0.05 then H0 is accepted, thus it is concluded that the data is normally distributed. While the data from the parental attention questionnaire obtained Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.2 > 0.05 then H0 is accepted, and from the learning interest questionnaire data obtained by Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.2 > 0.05 then H0 is accepted thus it is concluded that the data is normally distributed. Multiple linear regression equation from result of research that is Y = 21,873 + 0,363X1 + 1,15X2. Hypothesis test using partial test, after data of parents attention analyzed obtained tcount value = 2.544 ≥ 2.045 = t table and sig value. on parent attention = 0.017 <0.05 then H0 is rejected, which means parents' attention significantly influence learning achievement. While the interest of learning data obtained tcount = 7,119 ≥ 2.045 = ttable with sig value = 0.00 < 0.05 then H0 rejected, which means interest in learning significantly influence on learning achievement. Hypothesis testing using simultaneous test, after the data were analyzed obtained sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.00 <0.05 and Fcount = 90.556> 3.34 = Ftable then reject H0. So it is concluded that there is a significant influence of parents' attention and interest in learning on the achievement of learning mathematics of students of SMP Negeri 4 Kupang Year lesson 2017/2018.
