Abstract :
Departament of agriculture of NTT campaign corn crop cultivation by providing the material in the form of presentations and leaflets / brochures. Such counseling process has not fully provide adequate knowledge for farmers, and tend to be boring. In addition to the material presented only a theory and not detailed. Material presented less attractive so that farmers see less interested in listening and poorly understood by farmers. It is therefore necessary to build an application extension and the cultivation of maize in NTT Provincial Agriculture Office so that it can provide a complete material that can be understood by the farmers. The method used in the manufacture of this application is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle with the steps that must be followed to produce the product in the form of a multimedia application. Steps in the design method includes : Concept, Design, Collection of Materials, Assembly, Testing, Distribution, and the implementation phase. The resulting application contains corn crop cultivation material complete with text, audio, animations, photos and videos of interest so that the application can be used as an extension for staff counseling to better understand farmers' maize cultivation techniques properly.
