Abstract :
The main problem in this research is about how the student?s mathematic reasoning ability and whether any effect upon the student?s mathematic reasoning ability has applied on the learning model on Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) upon the summary main topic within Saint Joseph Junior High School of Kupang, learning term 2016-2017. The aim of this research is to obtain the ability upon the mathematical reasoning ability upon the students and the effect upon the student?s mathematical reasoning ability that was taught by using the type of cooperative learning upon Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) on the main summary topic in St Joseph Junior High School of Kupang, learning term 2016- 2017. This research has been done to the class of 7-A, in Saint Joseph Junior High School of Kupang, by learning year of 2016-2017, with 27 students as participants. The instruments those were used are observation, interview and student?s mathematical reasoning ability in 5 numbers of tests in form of description. The technical data analysis that is used within this research is the result of the observation, interview, the indicator of the achievement and t-test. Based upon the outcome upon the observation and others, it is obtained that the student?s mathematical ability is catagorized as good. Meanwhile base on the potential test is showing thitung = 14,947 and ttabel = 2,07961 significantly 5% and that means thitung > ttabel, H0 is rejected and H 1 is accepted. Therefore it can be concluded a significant influence upon the uses Teams-Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model upon the ability of student?s mathematical for 7th graders.
