Abstract :
Instalasi bedah pada sebuah rumah sakit merupakan bentuk pelayanan kesehatan dimana mempunyai peran penting dalam menjalankan fungsinya. Penilaian instalasi bedah sebuah rumah sakit tergantung pada sebuah sistem salah satunya adalah patient safety. Untuk memastikan patient safety di kamar bedah dapat terlaksana dengan baik maka World Health Organization mengeluarkan sebuah tool yang dikenal dengan Surgical Safety Checklist. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk Mengetahui Hubungan tingkat Pengetahuan Perawat tentang Surgical Safety Checklist dengan Penerapan Surgical Safety Checklist di ruang Operating Theatre. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 12 perawat kamar bedah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran sebanyak 6 perawat berpengetahuan baik dengan persentase 50% dan 6 perawat berpengetahuan kurang dengan persentase 50%. Sebanyak 8 responden telah melakukan penerapan Surgical safety checklist di kamar operasi dengan persentase 67,3% dan 4 responden tidak melakukan penerapan Surgical Safety Checklist dengan persentase 33,3%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan p-value sebesar 0.221, maka dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang Surgical Safety Checklist dengan penerapan Surgical Safety Checklist di ruang Operating Theatre di satu rumah sakit swasta di indonesia bagian barat. Peneliti menyarankan sebaiknya melakukan pelatihan dan edukasi pengisian Surgical Safety Checklist = Surgical installation in a hospital is a form of health service which has an important role in carrying out its functions. Assessment of a hospital's surgical installation depends on a system one of which is patient safety. To ensure that patient safety can be carried out properly, the World Health Organization issues a communication tool known as the Surgical Safety Checklist. This research would to analysis correlation between knowledge with attitude towards the application of surgical safety checklist in the operating theatre private hospital in west of Indonesia. This research use quantitative correlation with cross sectional approach. This research use 12 nurses of operating theatre as population. Researcher use questioner and observation sheet to collecting data. The results of the study showed that there were 6 nurses with good knowledge with a percentage of 50% and 6 less knowledgeable nurses with a percentage of 50%. A total of 8 respondents have implemented the Surgical safety checklist in the operating room with a percentage of 67.3% and 4 respondents did not implement the Surgical Safety Checklist with a percentage of 33.3%. The results of the analysis show that the p-value is 0.221, so it can be concluded that there is no relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses about the Surgical Safety Checklist and the application of the Surgical Safety Checklist in the Operating Theater in a private hospital in western Indonesia. Researchers suggest that it is better to conduct training and filling education on the Surgical Safety Checklist.
