Abstract :
This research analyzes about woman loyatly in poetry by William Shakespeare. The approach that begins with the language that poetry is a sign system that contains connotative meanings in poems by William Shakespeare. poetry is still relevant today, because in poetry, especially poetry from William Shakespeare, which uses the language of old English and is not easily understood by reading one time but three to five times to find the meaning of language that is easy to understand and can be used everyday. The intrinsic element of poetry is a foundation in making a poem work to make a poem beautiful and full of meaning. This research was conducted to find the symbol of love loyalty using semiotic Roland Barthes.To conduct this research the research uses descriptive qualitative method, because the data in the form of word, and sentences. The data of this research is the intrinsic element of poetry by William Shakespeare. To analyze data the research take data which consist symbol of love woman loyatly that are in the poetry by William Shakespeare and explain the symbol of love woman loyatly in the poetry. The result of this research show the intrinsic element of poetry by William Shakespeare especially symbol of love woman loyatly in the poetry by William Shakespeare. By using the intrinsic element of poetry, the poetry have symbol of love woman loyatly and by verse of poetry to read.
