Abstract :
This study aims to determine the amount of chicken breeders' income and
the factors that affect the income of broiler breeders in the downstream rambah
sub-district. The research was conducted in the Rambah Hilir sub-district starting
from March 2020. The method used in the study was Taipei and direct interviews
with four broiler breeders and purposive sampling was taken of the location. the
data collected is tabulated and then analyzed to determine income. Data analysis
was performed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS and followed by t
test and f test.
The results of the t test in the study showed that the price was 0.668> 0.05
with a beta value of 1.759, so it could be said that the price had no effect on the
farmer's income. The number of seedlings is 0.768> 0.05 with a beta value of -
1,200, it can be said that the number of seeds does not have a significant effect on
farmer income. The amount of feed is 0.454> 0.05 with a beta value of 0.313, so
the amount of feed does not have a significant effect on farmer income. From the
results of the f-test calculation, it is obtained that the Fcount value is 498,000 and
Ftable is 6.59, this means that Fcount is greater than Ftable with a significant level
of 0,000 <0.05. So it can be concluded that the price, the number of seeds, and the
amount of feed together have an effect on farmers' income.
