Abstract :
Pasir Utama Village, Rambah Hilir Subdistrict, is one of the areas with high potential for cattle development. This study aims to: 1) Determine the Role of Cattle Farmer Groups in Pasir Utama Village, Rambah Hilir District 2) Know the effectiveness of the activities carried out by cattle ranchers groups against cattle ranchers in Pasir Utama Village, Rambah Hilir District. The sampling method uses the saturated sample method or survey with a sample of 60 respondents. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, documentation and using the Likert scale. The results show that: the role between obtaining a score of 2,14 with the category of role level role, the role associated with information obtained a score of 2,17 with the category of role role level, the role of decision making obtained a score of 2,29 with the category of role role level, the effectiveness of the activities conducted by the group of cattle ranchers against cattle ranchers an average weighting value of 1,78 with the category of role rol.
