Abstract :
The role of small industries in the distribution and employment opportunities for the commuity and their contribution to foreign exchange earnings has proven that small industries are not only active but also productive. While the informal sector is able to act as a buffer in the community economy. One of the small scale indutrial businesses that are still active is the business of making pottery, even though teh production is still traditional and a hereditary business This study aims to Analyze the costs, revenues and profits of the business of making pottery Mr. Kalun. Analyzing the risk of the business of making pottery Mr. Kalun. Analyzing the level of efficiency in the business of making pottery Mr. Kalun. This research will be carried out in the village of Rambah Utama, Rambah Samo Subdistrict, Rokan Hulu Regency, which is the business of pottery production in the father of Kalun. The basic method used in this research is descriptive quantitative analytical using survey methods. Data analysis method used in this research is business analysis which includes cost analysis, risk analysis and efficiency analysis. The results of the study were as follows, the average acceptance of Rp. 3,550,000 / month, with a total production cost of 2,157,000 / month, while the monthly profit is 1,393.980. The risk faced by the pottery businessman, Mr. Kalun, is classified as a major risk. Efficiency / RCR value is 1.64, which means that for every Rp. 1.00 the costs incurred will get an income of 1.64 times the costs incurred.
