Abstract :
This research aimed to know the effectiveness of using handout in drama performance of sixth semester students of English study program University of PasirPengaraian. The design method was pre-experimental design with pre-test and posttest. The data were taken from drama performance test. Test was given to 28 students in the experimental class. The result of the research showed that there was a significant result. The data analyzed by Independent T-test with t-values was 72.501 compared with ttable 5% (0.05) = 2.0048. The finding showed that t-value t-table. It meant the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Thus, it could be concluded that there was a significant effect of using drama handout. Through drama handout, the students? skill in drama performance was improved.
