Abstract :
Snow White is a story or film that we are already familiar with. The story of Snow White itself is attached to children and adults. The Snow White film that was released with a different concept, namely Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Snow White And The Huntsman (2012). Because it has a different concept, this is what motivated researchers to research the two movies. This study aims to describe the similarities and differences in the storyline and also how the main characters in the two films are realized. To research the Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Snow White And The Huntsman (2012) movies, researchers used the Descriptive Qualitative method with a comparative literature theory approach. This method is used by analyzing the two movies to find similarities and differences which are then compared and the results of the study are concluded. The results of this study show that how the main character Snow White, is very influential in the course of the story. In the animation, Snow White always needs help in every storyline. This is different from the main character of Snow White in the live action movie, where she becomes a strong woman and is able to change her own storyline without having to wait to be saved.
