Abstract :
Distribution transformer is a device for lowering the power supply voltage to the side of consumers, since due to the change or drop in voltage often occur within the electricity distribution due to the position of power plants that are far away from the consumer, distribution transformers are equipped with tap changer or changer leads. Tap changer is a complete distribution transformer which allows the transformer winding ratio variation have to get a certain secondary voltage when the primary voltage change. Usually tap changer placed side high voltage (primary winding) of the transformer due consideration of the current lower and variations in voltage wider, so that the quality of service voltage must match the voltage quality desired to meet customer needs for increases and decreases in voltage can damage electrical equipment customers and voltage conditions that do not fit to the lead position of tap changer can reduce the operating life of distribution transformers. In this final project will discuss the analysis of the distribution transformer tap changer setting with a no-load condition.
