Abstract :
PLN?s attempt due to RUPTL 2021 ? 2030 concerning reducing the emission of
grennhouse and reducing the cost of production by deactivation PLTD through
dedieselization program and grid to larger system through substation. However,
the dedieselization program needs to be calculated in terms of distribution losses.
By deactivating PLTD Aur Kuning and gridding to Tayan Subsation, its expected
to revise the losses of ULP Sandai. At ULP Sandai, the cumulative losses before
dedieselization in December 2021 was 9.45% from the target of 9.20%. The
cumulative losses until April 2022 was 8.51% from the target of 8.40%. Based on
ETAP simulation, if the Tayan Substation grid is carried out, it has a smaller losses
when compared to the supply from the PLTD Aggreko, with the loss saving value
of 8,696.85 kWh which if converted into rupiah is Rp 12,564,345.44 assuming a
selling price of Rp 1,444.7 per kWh. The impact of dedieselization on losses of ULP
Sandai is that cumulative losses in December 2021 have improved from 9.45% to
9.37% but have not met the target of 9.20%. The cumulative losses until April 2022
was better from 8.51%, down to 8.25% and has met the target of 8.40%. The
dedieselization of PLTD Aur Kuning can save cumulatively Rp 2,034,147,837 or
reduce costs by 3.79% compared to before dedieselization
