Abstract :
High-voltage overhead lines are part of the electric power transmission
system, which plays a very important role in maintaining quality and reliability to
distribute electricity with very large capacities. In the distribution of electric power
the quality of the insulator will affect the stability of the electricity, if the condition
of the insulator is not good it will result in the distribution of electric power being
often disrupted by phase to ground faults. The quality of the insulator is reduced
due to corrosiveness, pollution and flash over. Visual testing of high-voltage
overhead line insulators using a puncture test is a type of Level 2 inspection for
SUTT/SUTET maintenance. Visual inspection in the field of insulator T. 352 SUTET
500 kV Tasik - Depok provides measurement data results, with these results can be
analyzed using quantitative methods.
The results of the test analysis show that the insulator T. 352 SUTET 500
kV Tasik - Depok has a decrease in the voltage distribution of 48.85% from chip 20
to chip 21 and the value has not changed after experiencing a decrease in the
voltage distribution of more than 30% for chips 22 and 23 with a total 3 pieces of
insulator damage.
