Abstract :
In this era of globalization, the need for electric power increases with the growth
of industrial areas, residentil areas, and other areas. This will lead to an increase in rural
and urban electricity consumers and is synonymous with the expansion of the need for
electricity networks. When distributing electricity, it is also not free from disturbances
during the distribution process. For this reason, the distribution reliability indec of the
electric powe system is needed. Therefore, an appropriate and fast recovery time is
needed so that the reliability index of electric power distribution is getting better. To
speed up the handling of disturbances, the bays (conductors) that are frequently disturbed
by SCADA are integrated into the Central Sumatera System. Data collection in this study
was carried out at GI Bangkinang Bay Pasir Pangairan 1. In calculating the percentage
of time outage that can be saved, the results is 81,624%, the total Energy Not Supplied
(ENS) before being integrated into SCADA is 121,322 MWh dan the rupiah that can be
saved after integration with SCADA is 15,165 MWh and Rp 153.365.018. The percentage
of saving kWh when integrated into SCADA is 87,50%. The TLOD and TLOF values after
SCADA integration were smaller than before integration into SCADA is 0,013 hours/100
kms and 0,074 times/100kms after integration into SCADA.
