Abstract :
PT Pelabuhan Indonesia of Sungai Pakning branch is one of the state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in Indonesia which is engaged in the transportation sector, especially port. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the implementation of service improvement at PT Pelindo 1 of Sungai Pakning Branch and the obstacles encountered. Th technique of collecting data is through interviews and observations Results of this study: Optimization made by PT Pelindo 1 of Sungai Pakning branch has been running, seen by the changes made, namely: improvement of service facilities and infrastructure, responsibilities,the implementation of human resouces, utilization of information and communication technology.
