Abstract :
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of emotional intelligence on self-efficacy, organizational commitment and employee performance, the effect of self-efficacy on organizational commitment and employee performance, as well as test the mediation of self-efficacy on the influence of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment and employee performance. The population in this study were all employees (teachers) of the Xaverius Representative Office of Muara Bungo, Jambi, totaling 35 employees. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample or the entire population is used as a sample area so that there are 35 samples. Analysis uses a partial least square (PLS) with the smartPLS analysis tool Findings, emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on self-efficacy, organizational commitment and employee performance, self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment and employee performance. Self-efficacy mediates the positive influence of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment and employee performance.
