Abstract :
Unemployment is a situation where a person belonging to the labor force wants to get a job but they have not yet got the job. Unemployment is a problem that is very difficult for a country to avoid because it can reduce people's welfare and purchasing power. The study aims to estimate the influence of economic growth, inflation rate, labor force, human development index, and provincial minimum wage on indonesia's unemployment rate in 2015-2020 using the panel's data regression analysis. The results showed that the selected estimated model was the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). The results of the cross-section effect validity test (t) showed that the variables of the labor force and provincial minimum wage had a positive effect on the unemployment rate, while the variables of economic growth, inflation rate, and human development index had a negative effect on the unemployment rate in 34 provinces in Indonesia during the period 2015-2020. 1. The Central Government and local government are expected to synergize in boosting the economy, so that the hope is to increase employment opportunities and reduce the open unemployment rate in Indonesia
