Abstract :
In 2020, the whole world, including Indonesia, felt concerns about their
daily activities due to the Covid-19 Pandemic which made Indonesians have to stay
at home and shop online. Grocery items are General Cargo items that are widely
sent by cargo companies during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to identify
how PT Swabuana Pratama Bandung handles Irregularity Cargo (Missing, Damage,
Overload, Found) that occurred during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research
method used is Descriptive Qualitative by using interview and observation
guidelines as an instrument for collecting data. The resource persons in the
interview that the author will interview are the Manager and Operational
Employees of PT Swabuana Pratama Bandung. The findings found that irregularity
still occurs at the time of delivery of general cargo. Handling of irregularity cargo
has been carried out properly in accordance with the company's SOP and in
accordance with international standards. However, there are some additional
actions that can be taken in the future when shipping general cargo that can prevent
irregularity cargo from occurring.
