Implementation of the Word Square Learning Method in Improving Student Learning Outcomes for Class X Ips 1 Geography Subjects at Madrasah Aliyah At-taqwa Pusat Putra Bahagia, Kelurahan Bahagia, Babelan Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency. Skripsi. Geography Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University 45 Bekasi. The problem faced by students of class X Ips 1 at Madrasah Aliyah At?taqwa Putra Center in learning Geography is the low student learning outcomes. This is because in the teaching and learning process teachers still use the lecture method, question and answer and assignment. The method used by this teacher is conventional in nature which is teacher-centered so that students do not play an active role in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the word square learning method in geography learning and to determine the application of the word square learning method in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is a type of qualitative research. The data source of this research is the research subject, where the subjects in this study were 35 male students. Metode pengumpulan data dari metode ini adalah obesevasi,wawancara, dokumentasi dan tes. The method of data analysis in this study is to use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. And the results are: increasing every cycle, where in the pre-cycle with the lecture and question and answer method only 5 students or 73% with an average of 36.62 after using the word square method in the first cycle to 16 students or 75.71% with an average 37.85 and increased again in the second cycle, with 24 students or 81.08% completed with an average of 40.48. So in this case it can be concluded as follows, "There is an increase in student learning outcomes through the implementation of the Word Square learning model in geography learning class X Ips 1 at Madrasah Aliyah At-taqwa Putra Center Keywords: Learning Method, Word Square, Learning Outcomes Bekasi, 30 July 2022 Ade Saparudin
